OUR BOOKS ARE DESIGNED FOR THE GDL/PGDL DEGREE

The Private Law Tutor Core Series is the most complete and up-to-date series of PGDL distinction-level texts for the Graduate Diploma in Law. We have the perfect set of notes for the GDL and PGDL course.

For GDL and PGDL students, we sell 12 books. The GDL books consist of 6 volumes from the Core Series and 6 books from the Q&A Series.

Like distinction-level GDL notes, each Core Series lays out the basics and fully explains the law. The books are also PGDL books because the course is designed in the same way as the GDL. These are for PGDL students at BPP as well as UoL and other law schools.

Each of our Core Series covers all six subjects in depth, including explanations of the relevant statutes and case law. We teach you just what you need to know, without any of the extra fluff that you may encounter on your course. Universities often assign reading materials that seem to be unrelated to the PGDL subject matter of your examination.

Our Core series books go further into the cases, summarising the important facts and broad principles in a few lines and providing useful suggestions on what was decided and how the case might be implemented. We also go through the most important examples and how to compare and contrast them.

Examiners on the PGDL want you to answer questions in a certain manner, but other textbooks and guides simply give you the law, not how to apply it to the scenario to get the maximum marks.

This is where we can help. Our Q&A Series is created as a set of organised responses that walk you through the law and teach you how to apply it to each issue step by step. You can use the Q&A series to answer any exam type question or essay or problem question. You never know one of our questions may even come up as assignment or appear in your exam. We have used previous PGDL exam questions and these seldom change.
